Be it a lotus pond found in most temples and parks to the intricately carved limestone of the Stone Forest (Shi Lin), China has much to offer. Most of my travels in China have been to the major cities where pictures of scenic landscapes are difficult to find. But, you can still find spots of scenic beauty in the city parks of most cities. Also depicted on this page are a few photos from the Guangzhou lantern festival held each year a few weeks after the Chinese New Year.
