Food Markets of China

The markets of China can be exciting and colorful places. Filled with every imaginable type of vegetable, fruit, or meat they are every families source for food. While they may not meet the health and cleanliness standards of our super markets they do have the freshest products available, often brought to market by the farmers that produce them. Some parts of the market seem to be more like a zoo with live animals including many wild animals and animals such as cats and dogs, which we consider as pets rather than food. The Chinese like their food to fresh, the Chinese market provides the freshest of food and a colorful shopping experience.
