Informatiom on Buying Photographs
All of my photographs are for sale and may be purchased in a variety of formats. If you would like to buy a photograph please contact me by E-mail or phone with a description of how you would like to use the photo and I will give you a quotation. The preferred method of delivery is in a digital format. I can deliver digital files in any format or file size to meet your needs. I prefer the digital format because then I can make color adjustments in PhotoShop to insure the resulting image meets my standards. Prints are also available.

Photos for use on the Web are delivered by e-mail. You must specify the size of the image in pixels and the amount of file compression. All photos destined for Web use have been optimized for Internet browsers so all you need to do is drop them into your layout program without any further adjustments.

Larger file sizes can be delivered on CD or by FTP. Contact me for pricing. I will be happy to work with you to meet your needs.

Prints are also available. The 8.5x11 size is only $40 + shipping (Note: image size may be smaller as I generally try to leave a 1/2" border). Other sizes are also available - contact me for more information. If you buy a print you are just buying the right to own that print and you do not own any rights to reproduce or distribute the image in any form. If you buy a print and latter decide to upgrade your rights so that you can publish the image then $40 will be credited to your account and additional digital files my also be provided to meet your needs.

You may use a credit card to pay for your purchases. After we come to an agreement on the cost of the photo and shipping cost, if any, return to this page and click on the PayPal logo at the bottom of this page. You will then be taken to the secure PayPal site were you can use your credit card. PayPal offers a secure way to use your credit card on line as I never receive your card number and PayPal verifies my address. You will receive a receipt via E-mail from PayPal and I will receive a notice of payment. The whole process only takes a short time and I can generally send your photos) to you in only a few hours time.

Fair use policy: If you are working on the design or lay out of a publication or web site you may download to your computer the images that you are interested in using in your design. You may not publish my photographs or put them on any web site without my prior permission. You may not circulate your design outside of your design group or to the general public without my permission. If you decide not to use my photographs in your publication or web site you must delete any downloaded images from you computer or, if you made any printouts of the images you must destroy them. You may not use any of my photographs for any personal use such as inclusion in E-mails, screen savers, personal souvenir, or as gifts to friends or acquaintances. Use of my photographs without my specific permission and payment of applicable fees constitutes agreement that you will pay any and all legal fees and any expenses that I would incur in defending my rights, you also agree to pay the usage fee and any fines that may apply plus any damages I may incur. Please do not engage in piracy or you could end up with the most expensive photograph you ever bought.
PayPal is a service whereby you can make payments for on-line purchases using your credit card. When you deal with PayPal you can be sure that you credit card information will remain confidential. Only PayPal knows your credit card number and all transactions are on their secure servers. I never receive your card number. PayPal verifies their merchant accounts to give you added protection. Once you receive the total cost of your purchase from me just click on the PayPal logo on the right and you will be taken to their secure servers where you make your payment. They will send you a conformation by E-mail. I will also receive a confirmation of your payment, then I send your order to you. He whole transaction generally only takes a few minutes.
Special offer for small non-profits. If you are a non-profit group with an annual budget of under $15,000 you may qualify for a special rate. In order to promote the work of small non-profit organizations I am offering the use my photos for your news letter or web site for only $25 per photo for one time use. In your publication you must give me the credit line and publish a link to this site. At this rate I can only send the photo to you by E-mail and you must pay by credit card prior to me sending the photo. Approval of the editorial content in which the photo will be used is also required.
